Plan a Journey
Tell us your dates, your pace, and how high you’d like to stand. We’ll send back a tailored route — usually within two days.
Write to us and a real person in Thimphu reads every message — no call-centre, no bots, no auto-reply pretending to be someone. Just one of our small team, replying in their own words and their own time.

Your visa is arranged by us — no queuing at an embassy. Every visitor also pays the Sustainable Development Fee of US$100 per person per night, which funds free healthcare, education and conservation across the kingdom. We fold it into your itinerary so there are no surprises.
Our journeys are graded Easy, Moderate or Challenging. Cultural tours ask only for comfortable day-walking legs — temples, dzongs and gentle valley strolls. Treks need steady multi-day fitness at altitude, walking five to seven hours a day for a week or more. Tell us your baseline and we’ll match the route to it.
Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) bring the clearest skies and the finest trekking. Festival dates shift each year with the lunar calendar — a tshechu you’ve set your heart on may land in a different month, so ask us and we’ll pin the exact dates for your travel year.
Both. We run private departures on any date you like — just you, your guide and your route. Or join one of our small set-departure groups of 8–12 like-minded travellers, which is the sociable way to walk and often the gentler way on the budget.
